Four Drum & Stirrer Pontoon with Electric Pump 15 hp & Stirrer 10 hp

  • An economical simple means of floating an effluent pump or stirrer on an effluent pond or large sump.

  • Easy to relocate around the pond to reduce sludge buildup.

  • New drums of strong design manufactured from virgin materials.  No second hand or reject drums which collapse and sink.

  • Pontoons are easily removed from the pivot point and pulled to edge of pond for pump and stirrer maintenance.  More easily accessible for maintenance than other pontoon designs.

  • More stable with greater buoyancy than other pontoon designs with a similar number of drums.  Easily supports the weight of a serviceman without sinking or capsizing.

  • A 76 mm OD x 6.5 m or 8.0 m long discharge pipe extends from the pontoon to the bank.  Modular construction allows up to 15 m long discharge pipes to be used.
  • Modular construction to suit pump, stirrer and pond size.

  • A 34 mm ID ancillary pipeline attached to the top of the discharge pipe carries the power cable from the bank to the pump or stirrer.

  • Fits all common types of effluent pumps and stirrers.

    		Two drum pontoon generally used for pumps up to 7.5 hp
    o Four drum pontoon generally used for pumps 10 hp and greater or if fitted with an 8.0 m long discharge pipe.

    		Six drum pontoon generally used for a combination of a pump and stirrer.

  • Support legs to prevent stirrer propeller from contacting the bottom of the sump or pond.

  • Robust construction and hot dip galvanised for durability.
